Drawing portrait of old man

Drawing portrait of old man

Drawing portrait of old people is always hard, because there are lots of details in the face you're drawing, it's not like drawing portraits of young people or even babies.
This is a man who did everything for his family (parents, brothers, and sisters), and also his little family (wife and children). And his country too, when he was in the army, he was a prisoner for 8 months, and was injured many times in many places and almost died once... this is my father.. my pride <3
The more I grow up the more I realised how much I learned from this man, even without him teaching me directly, I still got a lot from his character and personality, because as kids we copy what our parents and people we love do.. now he is very old and weak :( he has grand children, and still caring about each and everyone of us all, I just wish him a good health, and wish that he could forgive me for not being a great son, and not even trying. I'm sorry father, but I'm proud of you and of the way you raised me, I wouldn' trde that with the world. and I wish that one day I could make you proud of me. You will always be my hero.
