Cartoon Face Pencil Drawing

The final result:

After making a new short film that I really loved and that I will post in the coming few days I decided to reward myself by taking a rest and why not draw something.Recently I really started to get into this drawing style, especially the cartoon-ish drawings by cameron mark, I follow him on Instagram and that's where I saw this pic that he drew recently. Check him out his drawings are very cute.

Just like the steps I explained in my tutorial named "how to cartoon a face" you could see that he does a similar job here, except maybe that the neck is kinda long which I didn't say in my tutorial, but you could add it if you are trying to cartoon a girl's face, long necks are a sign of beauty in many countries and cultures.. Although the goal if to turn a picture into a cute cartoon, but it doesn't mean that it can't be beautiful in an adult way at the same time.

eyes are big of course, and by the way, I changed a little bit in her eyes compared to the original ones, I added more details, had to add my touch lol..

nose and mouth are smaller but in a cute way..

Like always I used the same set of pencils I have, but this one I only used 2 of them, 2b and 2h, a dark one and a lighter one, the drawing is simple when it comes to how many shades are in it.

If you prefer colored crayons you can use them too, I'm just not that much into colors plus I don't have any with me right now, once i get some I will try to draw the same style but with colors this time, I like to experiment..
