Drawing mouth and teeth

Drawing mouth and teeth

Mouth and teeth were always hard for me in drawing portraits, I had bad experiences in drawing mouths in the past, and it took me a lot to progress untill I learned how to draw mouth and teeth.
This is my goregous friend Samantha, she has very pretty eyes and a very beautiful smile.. she's also nice and sweet.. I remember that at that time I bought some new kind of papers, softer than the ones I am used to.. and also kinda smooth and shinny, it is a good thing because lines drawn on those papers are "straight" unlike the old papers I am used to.. sometimes lines are "interrupted" by very small holes and things in the paper, of course it's not visual because it's very small but it still has an inpact.. "small details make the big picture". but the problem is that when you used the eraser in a special area and you want to reused the pencil on it.. it's a big problem.. it becomes all messy so when I am using those paper I try my best to avoid the eraser as much as I can.. Also the shinny part can be a problem when there's a reflection of the light on my eyes, it makes me not able to see.. .. the second thing is that I bought a new pencil aswell.. this drawing was the first time I use it.. I must say I didn't regret, it's a great one.. third thing I remember about that portrait drawing, is that I made it in Ramadan on day time, I was hungry, and I think it's the first time "as far as I remember" that I draw something in Ramadan on day time.. That's all I think :) oh yes! it was a surprise to her, she didn't knew that I drew her (almost all my friends that I drew had no idea that I was going to draw them). and she was happy about it :) that's my reward.. when the person I draw is happy about the result.. but then it's the case for everyone lol whenever you give someone a gift when they're happy about it they give you a good feeling :).
