A Little kid Drawing

A Little kid Drawing

This little kid Drawing is a special request, from filmmakers in the US, they are planning to make a short film and they needed a Portrait Drawing of the main character as a little kid, so they posted an Ad on craigslist that I came across just by pure chance.. Or maybe not since I don't believe in chance any more.. Anyway, they stated that it's not gonna be paid for since it's a low budget amateur short movie, but I didn't mind, since I personally know about the struggle that one can go through while trying to make good short movies. So I decided to make the portrait drawing for them.. The short film will be available online next July / August as they told me, and my name will appear on the credits.. I'm actually excited to watch the short movie, after all I'm somehow a part of it.
But Drawing this little boy's picture wasn't easy at all, since the picture that they sent me is of low resolution, and it's hard to draw portrait from low resolution photoss, but I did my best in This Portrait Drawing, and it came out pretty good..
Below you can watch the making of this little kid drawing.. Yes I made a video and uploaded it to my youtube channel that you can subscribe to if you want
I also uploded this new little kid drawing to my facebook fan page that you can aslo like if you want to

Stay tuned.. More Drawings and videos are coming soon.. Thanks for reading

Update:
I haven't heard from the filmmakers since then, I even doubt that they even ended up making the short movie, what a dissapointment, I was excited to watch it.. But anyway, it was a nice experience even if it was uncompleted. Although I understand that making a movie even a short one may take a very long time, like mine for example took 3 years, and now it is in the posst production phase and still not ready to be published.. But in my case it's the actress that is not available, she is travelling away and that makes it hard to finish some stuff, like recording the sounds and voices. The first short movie that I have made took me weeks, and in that movie it was only me and myself, and it was less than 3 minutes long with credits included.. So you can imagine what would be like for long feature movies.
I had the chance to be on the set of a real legit TV series, big production, I think it was co-produced by the BBC, we spent 4 hours shooting a scene that will actually last for less than one minute. the preps took weeks, we had to hold heavy stuff for hours and do the same moves over and over and over, it was a very tiring day, but still fun, as a first experience, I would do it again any time without complaining. Even if at the end the director picked only the parts that I was not in, I appeared for only a second or two.
Thank you for watching! See you in the next drawing.
