Drawing Tiger

Drawing a tiger is something that I have always wanted to do, I love tigers, and white Tigers too, they just look fascinating to me.

But drawing this tiger was not as easy as I thought it would be, it was actually very hard, took me seven days of drawing, Yes! It took me seven days of hard work to draw this beautiful animal you are seeing, but I wanted it to be perfect, so I gave a big importance to the little details, while drawing, the more you take care of the details, the more the drawing is perfect, but anyway, another fantasy came true, drawing a tiger perfectly..

The thing I regret about this drawing is that I did not make a video of it, it was not possible back then because I was not home and I had no camera and my phone's camera was not a good one. Also because I did not pay that much attention to making speed drawing videos back then. And now it is too late to do it.. too bad, I should think maybe about drawing a lion or a panther and make a time-lapse video, it really makes a huge difference when you have the opportunity to witness a moment of creation from the beginneing to the end.

Little update:
This tiger was the second animal I drew (after a horse I did when I was a kid) since then I added a cat, so I started to think about adding an animal section in my drawing categories.. drawing animals is very challenging, because of the bone structure and also because of the fur.. there are no empty spaces, the whole area must be filled somehow with different shades of pencils. Plus of course there are so many animal lovers out there so there are a lot of animal drawings fans aswell. I have noticed this from the interaction i have got for this tiger drawing and the cat drawing too (wich was a new experience because it's the first time I draw an inverted picture) check it out in the full article I made about it HERE. Anyway, my next project is actualy a bird, till now i have never tried drawing a bird before so it's gonna be a new item on my check list. As for animals I think I am going to add a wolf because I like wolves and maybe a lion, so I guess it would be time for a new secion in the site about animals and bird, it could be named something like "Nature artworks" or something similar.. Stay tuned you never know what you could discover next time.
